This hotel is located right in the heart of the city with easy access to many attractions. Guests can easily reach the Rubinstein street which is full of cozy pubs and restaurants. it is next to the main avenue, which makes it a very convenient location. the rooms are comfortable, clean and well-furnished. the staff is friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a variety of foods available at the buffet breakfast.
Being situated in the center means it may not be very quiet.

Overpriced, uncomfortable, quiet, budget, basic, helpful staff, no elevator, difficult to find.
They didn't clean our room for two days. There was no sign to find the hotel from the street, so for tourists it's a case of dragging your suitcases around the area until someone who can speak English can help you find it. There was no elevator, so you had to carry your suitcases up a flight of extremely steep wooden steps if you were booked into the second floor. The bathroom was very basic, and the liquid soap smelt like it had been there for years. It was extremely overpriced, like everything else in St. Petersburg and Moscow.

It is a good hotel, in the centre of St. Peterburg. A little bit hard to find the entrance the fist time but it is a great location.

Perfect location. The hotel is globally sort of very pleasant. Most of the staff are very kind and helpful. Furniture was quite new, the room was big enough and seemed clean (although the carpet was actually somewhat dirty). The room was mostly calm with certain exceptions, see below. There were simple disposable slippers in the room for free. Wi-Fi worked well. All day long there was a free drinking water, tea and coffee available in the kitchen. Also candies, biscuits and some fruits were always there for free. And finally, I appreciated that there was no strictly determined time when the guest should leave the room for cleaning, one was allowed to leave when he/she liked.
The plumbing is quite bad which results for example in the fact that when one takes a shower, the water flows out too slowly. The single room is just next to the reception desk, and its window faces an outside wall of the opposite building which is unfortunately very close. Sometimes at night a loud speech was hearable from outside (it might be voices from another room of the hotel, reflected by the abovementioned wall). Also be aware that there is no lift. Well, the main staircase of the building is quite wide and not steep, so most people will have no problem to get to the hotel, but the hotel itself is located on two floors (I think 3rd and 4th) of the building, and to go from the hotel's first to its second floor one has to climb up a quite steep and narrow staircase which really can be a challenge with a luggage. Perhaps the hotel provides some solution if somebody has difficulties with that, but I don't know.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The carpets were dirty, the room was stuffy, we both had severe hayfever/allergies n I needed to take Salbutamol and Fluticasone Aerosol Puffs to avoid an asthma attack. The matress was uncomfortable n we woke with a sore back every morning. The pillows were of poor quality, old n smelly. The room had a window but looked onto a wall so we never saw daylight. The breakfast quality was poor, the coffee burnt n horrible n the bread was cheap. The staircase that leads to the hotel looks horrible (dirty carpet) from street level all the way up (with 60+ kg baggage) to the 4th floor with no lift so we arrived completely out of breath after which we had to climb a steep ladder to the next floor.

We loved the hotel's location near the bustling city center with easy access to restaurants and transportation. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Additionally, the hotel's facilities, particularly the available kitchen and dining area, made for a comfortable stay.
Nothing all good.

The position is excellent, easy to go everywhere and in a safe area
The "suite" is a normal room with as a plus the jacuzzi which was not working as lot of other things in the bathroom. The TV is with Russian channels only. The breakfast is poor and not international at all.

Center of the city, in Nevsky street, near the metro
Building ready to collapse but rooms and the small kitchen are ok. In this hotel you will wake up early because you will hear every noise in every other room and very clearly. At 6:00 am you will hear the washing of the dishes and at 7:00 am you will hear next door taking a shower. In the summer do not get a room with a window facing West because of heat and remember there is no air-conditioning

The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. The location was key, close to transportation and restaurants. The room was also cleaned daily.
The room was not as advertised, the bed had two single beds pushed together making for an uncomfortable sleep. The room also lacked proper ventilation and had creaky floors, making it hard to sleep when others were walking around.

The hotel is very well placed at the very center of the city. Most interesting sights are all easily acessible. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Rooms and personnel are good. Overall it is a good European like small hotel which is definitely a good choice.
Breakfast is mediocre. No hot meal, apart from toasts and boiled eggs. We ended up having breakfast at nearby cafes.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city. We were able to walk to all the major attractions within minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of food to choose from. Also, the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. All the amenities offered made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The construction work around the hotel which woke us up early in the mornings. Additionally, the noise from other guests in the hallway was audible, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. However, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall experience at the hotel. Despite the few flaws, we would definitely recommend this hotel to those looking for a great stay in the heart of the city.

Great location just off Nevsky Prospect near Fontanka. Staff were helpful. Pleasant lounge on upper floor. Surprisingly quiet for such close quarters. The driver provided by the hotel was capable and friendly.
Only one hotel staff member spoke English well, and one other spoke a little English. You could have a difficult time if you don't speak Russian. The guest rooms are small and the plumbing is ... odd. The rooms are not as nice as they appear from the website. While granting that Saint Petersburg is an expensive city, I felt that the hotel and service were a bit bare-bones for the rates that were charged.
